Rob Sas, born in 1957 in England to Polish parents, began playing guitar at 18 and performed with his original rock band, supporting acts like The Groundhogs and The Nashville Teens. After a break focusing on studio work, he launched Bad Attitude in 1999, which attracted interest from Warner-Chappell before folding due to the early ’90s recession. He then formed the covers band Burn, which toured the UK and Denmark for 20 years.

In 2012, Rob moved to southern Spain and formed The Rob Sas Band and later Deeper Purple in 2014, a Deep Purple tribute act that continues to tour across Europe. In 2023, Bad Attitude was revived, rebranded as Bad Matrix in 2025, and released its debut album Dangerous Game.

A seasoned live performer, Rob has collaborated with numerous renowned musicians, including members of Deep Purple, Status Quo, The Sweet, and Rainbow.
