The show this week definitely had some interesting stuff on it that’s for sure. The start was sponsored by the letter C and that was purely by accident.
https://www.instagram.com/cassidyparisofficial/#
I kicked it all off with a Cassidy Paris track and then before you knew it I had played 3 bands all beginning with C. No It wasn’t planned, we all know I’m not that clever.
There has been lots of messages this week from artists with news of new stuff coming, so plenty to discuss on that subject. In fact Block C got in touch with details about their new album which hopefully should be with us very soon.

https://www.instagram.com/blockcband/#
Tee shirt of the day this week was an inspired choice, as Hatchets had sent 3 new tracks in to me and are running a poll on their socials as to which one should be the next single. I chose to wear the Hatchets Tee. Last week I played “Legend of Pig Hill” and this week we had “Bottom Line”.

https://www.instagram.com/hatchets_uk/#
Now if you tune in on a regular basis you will know that I have a love of musicals and quite often reference Andrew Lloyd Webber’s work, especially his work with Ian Gillan, and this week was no exception as it was a great way to lead into the latest offering from the stage production work of Shot Full of Rock. Yes I know it wasn’t a Gillan fronted Deep Purple track that got played but that wasn’t the point.

https://www.instagram.com/shotfullofrock/#
There was also a chat about Pat Benatar and her cover of a song that was originally recorded by John Cougar Mellencamp which then prompted me to dig out the John Mellencamp version for comparison.
There was definitely something for everyone on the show this week so have a scroll through the playlist, grab a drink, kick back(if you can that is) and enjoy the show.
