GWAILO to release a “Rock N Roll Sensation”

Brit Hard Rock quintet, GWAILO, unleash their scorching new single and video, Rock N Roll Seduction, out everywhere on Friday 19th July.

Originally assembled in 2016, and coming at you from Sunderland in the North East of England, GWAILO have been ripping up the live scene since 2017. Dispatching edgy swagger, fiery energy, and filthy rock ‘n’ roll riffs, GWAILO take in the early potency of Guns ‘N’ Roses, the guile of Led Zeppelin, and the high voltage vibes of AC/DC. The end result is breath-taking and unmissable. Fronted by vocalist, Michael Curry, with David Henry on lead guitar, Kyle Dickinson handling rhythm guitar, Steve Crosby on Bass, and Adrian Marczyk pounding on the drums, the five-piece have an accomplished line-up of true players and real characters that are unwavering in creating killer rock cuts.

GWAILO have already carved out a reputation throughout the North for their notorious all-action live shows. Supports with South Africa’s LA Cobra, Australia’s Massive, and many others have helped to sharpen the band’s set and increase their fanbase. GWAILO’s recorded work has also turned heads with their debut EP, A Thousand Masks, which arrived in 2019, followed by the stand-alone singles, Innocent, and last year’s, Try Me—all have been whole-heartedly devoured by their followers and fans.

The feisty rockers will step up with their latest single, Rock N Roll Seduction. Lead vocalist, Michael Curry, comments about the track: “It’s a four-minute-long metaphor for how rock music seduces and pleases you the same way a lover would. We wanted to write a song that tells the story of how you get transported to different emotions listening to music. The song is like a siren calling to you with the hypnotic riff and enchanting lyrics until you give yourself to Rock N Roll.” The song is certain to stir up emotions with it’s contagious refrain, spiky riffery and spirted delivery; and with live shows and further releases on the way, GWAILO’s climb will be swift.

Born in the ‘70s Ro has been influenced by music throughout his life. At the tender age of 10, he was dutifully pumping 10ps into the Jukebox to listen to AC/DC’s Whole Lotta Rosie and Iron Maiden’s Run to The Hills constantly, much to the chagrin of everything else in the Youth Club! Ro then went to his first gig – SAXON! Since then all music has been his passion, with metal at its heart.
