Shannon Pearl Unveils New Single “Wolves”

Currently on tour with prog-rock outfit The Blackheart Orchestra, today North-East based singer/songwriter Shannon Pearl unveils new single Wolves.

After a whirlwind 2024 performing at festivals such as Lindisfarne and A Stones Throw, plus supporting Tygers of Pan Tang at their kick-ass home show back in November at Whitley Bay Playhouse, Shannon has already got a busy year of gigs lined up in 2025

The narrative of ‘Wolves’ is powerful. Harking back to the neolithic and the funerary practices in the land of ‘Pritani’ follow a trail of sonic breadcrumbs to reveal the age-old message of life after death. The song and the music video focus on the theme of death and rebirth and how energy is only ever re-purposed and never destroyed. This idea connects energetically to Shannon’s spiritual beliefs. As Pagan Animist, it is strongly believed that everything has a spirit and that this spirit or ‘essence’ s shared and should be revered by all.

The single and music video is released today on all streaming platforms. You’ll hear the track making its debut in the live set later in the year.
