MODERN EVILS Announce Breathtaking New Single!

Brit newcomers, MODERN EVILS, continue their surge with the release of their electrifying new single and video, GITZLAFF LOVER, which arrives on Friday 21st March.

Hitting your senses from Swindon, England, MODERN EVILS unleash a unique and compelling concoction of edgy alt-rock and twisted post-hardcore that nods to Biffy Clyro, Idles, System Of a Down and Title Fight. MODERN EVILS have gathered a band of loyal followers spurred on by the inventive quintet’s blistering live show which is awash with magnetic intensity, raw energy and unfiltered tantalising emotion.

The UK post-hardcorers are ready to serve up their new single, GITZLAFF LOVER, which is a commanding slab of engaging alt rock framed with a biting attack and contagious refrain. The band comment on the motivation behind the track: “It’s a true story based on a couple who discover lust for one another. Their relationship, built on intoxication, soon reveals just how dissimilar they are, which eventually forms a shared hatred toward one another.”

A raft of enticing content and live performances are in the works for the rest of 2025, so there’s nothing stopping MODERN EVILS.

Author: Ro

Born in the ‘70s Ro has been influenced by music throughout his life. At the tender age of 10, he was dutifully pumping 10ps into the Jukebox to listen to AC/DC’s Whole Lotta Rosie and Iron Maiden’s Run to The Hills constantly, much to the chagrin of everything else in the Youth Club! Ro then went to his first gig – SAXON! Since then all music has been his passion, with metal at its heart.
