The Lucidia Project release new single ahead of new LP

Prepare to be swept away by a tide of melody and darkness with The Lucidia Project’s captivating new lyric video for “Eventide,” a track taken from The Lucidia Project’s upcoming EP “Requiem”, due for release via Wormholedeath.

“Eventide” is a masterclass in melodic symphonic metal, showcasing The Lucidia Project’s ability to blend powerful themes with their signature sound. Originally penned almost a decade ago by frontman Chase Baldwin, the song underwent a significant transformation when he collaborated with bandmate Ben Jacobs. Together, they sculpted it into a potent commentary on the susceptibility to propaganda and the ease with which humanity can turn against itself. This collaboration birthed an epic, thought-provoking, musically and lyrically compelling anthem.

Founded 2022 in Fargo, ND, The Lucidia Project blends alternative metal with symphonic, doom, and progressive rock. Their debut demo featured songs like “In the Fray” and “Lights Out.” In 2023, their “Requiem EP” further developed their sound, gaining press attention and radio play.Adding Chris Polasky and Daniel Williams in 2023, they released “Soul Killer,” showing an evolved sound. In 2024, they re-released the EP and single under Wormholedeath Records and welcomed drummer Bruce Reisenauer. Both releases were co-produced and mastered by Danny Meyer at Sunway Studios in Germany.

The Lucidia Project’s lineup is currently comprised of
Chase Baldwin (vocals/pianos/arrangements)
Benjamin Jacobs (bass/guitars)
Daniel Williams (guitars)
Chris (David)
Polasky (guitars)
Bruce Reisenauer (drums)

At the tender age of 10, he was dutifully pumping 10ps into the Jukebox to listen to AC/DC’s Whole Lotta Rosie and Iron Maiden’s Run to The Hills constantly, much to the chagrin of everything else in the Youth Club! Ro then went to his first gig – SAXON! Since then all music has been his passion, with metal at its heart.
