MÖTLEY CRÜE Drops ‘CANCELLED’ EP

Mötley Crüe returns with the Cancelled EP. Out now on all platforms, the EP marks the band’s first new music since 2019 and their debut release with Big Machine Rock. Produced by Bob Rock, the EP features recent Top 5 Rock Radio hit, “Dogs of War;” alongside a cover of the Beastie Boys’ “Fight For Your Right;” and their newest single, the title track “Cancelled.”

“It was really great getting in the studio and working on some tracks together,” Mötley Crüe offered in a joint statement. “What started out as a couple demo ideas turned into this EP produced by Bob Rock. We look forward to getting back into the studio again soon and writing more new music, as well.”

To celebrate the release of the new EP, Mötley is set to return to the Sunset Strip in Hollywood, where it all began, with a three-night string of intimate club shows next week. Dubbed the Höllywood Takeöver, tickets for shows at LA’s iconic Troubadour (10/7), The Roxy (10/9), and Whisky a Go Go (10/11) sold out in record time, with fans camping out days in advance to nab exclusively physical tickets available only at the respective venue box offices.

Mötley Crüe pop-up store with limited, band-curated merchandise will also launch on 10/6 at the world-famous Rainbow Bar and Grill on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood and remain open through 10/12 from 3 PM PT to midnight daily.

Mötley Crüehas also announced their new philanthropic endeavor, the Mötley Crüe Giveback Initiative — a moniker under which the band will partner with different non-profit organizations near and dear to their hearts moving forward. For the remainder of 2024, the band has set a fundraising goal of $250,000 to Covenant House, a non-profit supporting youth experiencing homelessness, and the first charity to benefit from the Giveback Initiative’s endowment. Kicking off their fundraising efforts for the charity last month, the Crüe auctioned off a pair of tickets to their sold-out Höllywood Takeöver show at the Troubadour and a table to the intimate charity dinner they’ll be hosting at the legendary Rainbow Bar and Grill on 10/8. Earlier this week, the band launched an auction of stage-played instruments and ultra-rare, collectible items from the Höllywood Takeöver club dates to continue benefitting Covenant House. Born in the ‘70s Ro has been influenced by music throughout his life. At the tender age of 10, he was dutifully pumping 10ps into the Jukebox to listen to AC/DC’s Whole Lotta Rosie and Iron Maiden’s Run to The Hills constantly, much to the chagrin of everything else in the Youth Club! Ro then went to his first gig – SAXON! Since then all music has been his passion, with metal at its heart.
