Emerging Heavy Alt Rockers Climb Further With New Single & Debut EP!

Unleashing a potent sound that draws from Grunge, Nu metal, and edgy modern rock, DRENCHED have crafted a brand of progressive alt rock that emits everything from emotive and intimate ballads to full-throttle savage barnstormers. With combined influences panning from DeftonesLoatheTool, and Sevendust, DRENCHED have an impressive depth of adaptability and solid musicianship at their disposal, and are ready to strike out to hit the upper echelons of the UK scene.

Hailing from Newcastle, England, DRENCHED were formed in 2020. The band, however, were only really set when bassist, Mak Wilson, joined the ranks which allowed vocalist, Marc Mitchell to concentrate solely on vocals. This fresh dimension has massively helped with the writing and live performance aspects of the band. Now with Callum Ter Morsche on guitar and backing vocals, and Mike Essery rounding out the four-piece on drums, DRENCHED are poised to take their music anywhere and everywhere.

A recent string of successful shows and tours throughout the North of England and Scotland, including a recent sell-out in Newcastle has only reinforced DRENCHED’s growing reputation. Their name will be further amplified with the release of their incoming debut EP, Grey. The EP ideally showcases the band’s stimulating fusion of compelling and groove-filled riffery, all adeptly fortified with appealing vocal passages. Offering up four fully formed slabs of brawny and powerful alt rock, DRENCHED’s rise is imminent. The industrious riff givers will announce further UK shows this Summer, stay glued to their socials for details.

EP track listing: 1. The Change; 2. Cycles; 3. (in)sane; 4. Tonight.

Born in the ‘70s Ro has been influenced by music throughout his life. At the tender age of 10, he was dutifully pumping 10ps into the Jukebox to listen to AC/DC’s Whole Lotta Rosie and Iron Maiden’s Run to The Hills constantly, much to the chagrin of everything else in the Youth Club! Ro then went to his first gig – SAXON! Since then all music has been his passion, with metal at its heart.
