The playlist on the show this week didn’t exactly stick to plan. I mean I meant to but once you go off on a tangent what can you do but roll with it…..
So, This week we had a couple of tracks from The Beatles actually being done by The Beatles as opposed to covers, If you have caught my show before you’ll know why that distinction is important. anyway it’s a good excuse to use a picture of me with The Beatles Tee Shirt as Tee of the day.
As well as The Beatles, we had memories of 1988 and the time when Bruce Springsteen came to the U.K for the Tunnel of Love tour.
We also had some Block C flying the flag for the Irish rock scene.
Talking of memories we had a tip of the hat moment to fellow Hard Rock Hell Radio Jon Morter who occasionally tunes in, so I put on some Rage Against The Machine for him.
I’ve been lucky enough to bump into Jon at Hard Rock Hell Radio events and he is cracking laugh, with a bit of luck he will be at Great Yarmouth in November for HRH 18.
