Genre-defying vocalist Doris Brendel has unveiled the third video from her upcoming Blues album Big Blue Sky—this time for the sultry, atmospheric track Satin Row. While not an official single, the video stands out as a visually striking bonus release, blending music and cutting-edge AI visuals in a bold new way.
Set in a dazzling imaginary futuristic city, the video follows a digitally reimagined version of Brendel as she’s drawn deeper into the seductive world of Satin Row – where all the bad girls go. As the night unfolds, so does her transformation—from curious observer, to stage dancer – culminating in a surreal moment where she rides a glowing neon dragon through the city skyline.
Musically, Satin Row offers a rockier, slinkier flavour of the album’s Blues style, with a brooding bass line and her unmistakable husky vocals at the forefront. It’s one of the more cinematic tracks from Big Blue Sky, showcasing the creativity fans have come to expect.
Big Blue Sky is set for release on 21st April 2025, and marks a distinct turn into the world of Blues for Brendel and long-time producer Lee Dunham, known for their work in the progressive and alternative rock scene.
