What a great Thursday morning O.N.B.B. show it was this morning. Kicked proceedings off with a bit of MeMe Detroit and “Mean Rock N Roller” which is a great track, if you haven’t listen to them before you should go and search them out and if you can find it, check out their version of the David Bowie classic “Ashes to Ashes” well worth a listen. I remember meeting Maria at a street market and confusing her by asking her where her husband was. https://www.instagram.com/memedetroit/#

There was another couple of tracks on this morning from the debut album from BlockC. The album is definitely a kick on from their “Heather Road ” E.P. and the tracks on the show today showcased that to great effect. https://www.instagram.com/blockcband/#
Tee shirt of the day this week is the latest addition to my collection and comes, just in time for the release of “Petrichor” the new album from Shape Of Water https://www.instagram.com/shapeofwatermusic/#

Plenty of classic on the show for you this week, we had UFO, Pat Benatar, Whitesnake and even some Joan Jett & The Blackhearts. Though the Joan Jett track was spur of the moment because of something that I played from Cassidy Paris. Talking of Cassidy she has done a thing on social media with her performing tracks by artist’s that have influenced her and her career . I was fortunate enough to be able to get her to send me her take on the Kiss Track “Heaven’s On Fire” . you can see the video for that track and others via the Cassidy Paris Social pages. https://www.instagram.com/cassidyparisofficial/#
There was also a chat about a work colleague of my wife’s and the guy who was doing some plastering for their house . Have a listen to that and see why I ended up playing the Inglorious version of the Miley Cyrus song “Midnight Sky”. All I will Say is Phil Beaver we know where to find you now. LOL

Oh and before I forget there was interesting news from Hard Rock Hell Radio HQ, Andy Sayers who is usually on air on Wednesday at 10am has volunteered himself and others to start a once a month 2 hour Prog show, This was discussed during todays show and details of when and who will be providing this service were mentioned. Keep an eye on The Hard Rock Hell Radio Website for further updates but it should start on 7th September at 5pm.
