The annual London Prog Gigs ‘Prog Walk’ social event this year will be on Saturday 28th June

Experience a Prog inspired tour around some of music’s most iconic London buildings and meet some new musical soulmates.

Prog fans are set to meet at The George (London’s only surviving medieval galleried coaching inn) near London Bridge station for lunch (optional), and set off at 3pm for a leisurely 4-mile walk along the Thames South Bank, past many interesting sites including Borough Market, Southwark Cathedral, Shakespeare’s Globe, Royal Festival Hall, the London Eye and more, ending up at the iconic (especially for Prog fans!) Battersea Power Station, which is now a shopping and leisure destination with shops, bars and restaurants.

For those who fancy a little more walking, Battersea Park is nearby, or you can travel onwards from Battersea Power Station station on the Northern line. It doesn’t matter if you don’t know anybody, just turn up – the only requirement is that you have an interest in progressive music!

If you are thinking of going, please contact the organiser, Chris Parkins, at one of the links below, to give him an idea of numbers for the pub. Happy walking!
