Scottish Metal Project ARTEMYOL Unleashes Debut EP “Red Scorpion”

Emerging from Scotland, metal project Artemyol has unleashed their debut EP Red Scorpion, initially released on Spotify on August 4, 2024, and now available on Bandcamp as of October 23, 2024. Inspired by the powerful sounds of Metallica, Iron Maiden, and Black Sabbath, Red Scorpion fuses classic metal energy with modern grit.

Artemyol began as a solo project by Cameron, who has driven the project’s instrumental composition, performing guitar, bass, and drum programming. After creating the instrumental foundations and lyrics for two of the three songs, Cameron brought in vocalist Jotün in 2023, whose powerful voice completes the project’s dynamic sound. Additionally, Dan Brady joined as lyricist for the track Fortress, adding depth to the EP’s thematic range.

The Red Scorpion EP reflects the passion and dedication of a project built from the ground up by seasoned musicians. With three tracks that resonate with metal’s fierce energy and narrative power, Artemyol is ready to carve out its place in the metal scene. Fans of Metallica, Iron Maiden, and Black Sabbath will feel right at home in the sonic landscape of Red Scorpion.

At the tender age of 10, he was dutifully pumping 10ps into the Jukebox to listen to AC/DC’s Whole Lotta Rosie and Iron Maiden’s Run to The Hills constantly, much to the chagrin of everything else in the Youth Club! Ro then went to his first gig – SAXON! Since then all music has been his passion, with metal at its heart.
