Gypsy Pistoleros 18th October 2024

The “Church of The Pistoleros” opened it’s doors for the first time on Friday night in Swindon.

The Gypsy Pistoleros are not a band that can be pigeonholed so if you have never seen them before you will be in for a treat when you do.

Gypsy Lee Pistolero unveiled a new look for the band as they welcomed into their church The Lost, The Strange and The Beautiful Weirdos.

Opening the set was their new single “Church Of The Pistoleros” which went down well with the congregation.

The Drive on bass and backing vocals is Kerry Pistolero who provides an underlying power to tracks including “Tears In The Rain” and “What’s It Like To Be A Girl”.

Guitars are provided by the one and only Shane Pistolero whose guitar style really compliments the band when they get into their versions of “Livin La Vida Loca” and “Come On Eileen”.

The latest recruit to the line up is Chris Pistolero on drums and this man is no slouch as he boomed his way through the set.

The Gypsy Pistoleros are a band on a mission to bring their own unique brand of music to the world, and I for one am very happy to join the “Revolution”. The next outing for the Gypsy Pistoleros will be at The Castle and Falcon in Birmingham on 24th October 2024, so grab yourself a ticket and go and join the congregation. Keep a watch for Tommy Shelby and maybe ask Gypsy Lee Pistolero about The Ramones (if you know you know)….

The “Church Of The Pistoleros” welcomes you all…..Amen
